Cherith Musta
Fine Art Painter
Printmaker
One of my biggest beliefs in life is to ‘surround yourself with beauty’. I have always thought that art is tremendously important and vital to the human experience, and I do mean art in every form -dancing, music, painting, sculpting, cooking, etc… I believe in all our endeavors, it is so much more enjoyable to do it with passion and love and to our fullest capability! We our putting a piece of ourselves into this world every time we do anything with that mentality, and what a joy and privilege that can be. So, yes I do think that beauty is important!
I am a self taught artist. I paint what inspires me, and that changes all the time. I love the freedom to create what really is sparking my interest in that moment. Which is one of the reasons I generally shy away from commissions. Color is probably my biggest driving force in what I create. I really believe that color is an actual language that the human brain is cannot yet fully understand, but we do recognize when certain colors together create a perfect visual harmony (much like a piece of music that will give you goosebumps).
With love and gratitude I hope you find some joy in my work.
